Description
The Stars Over Stillwater Cowl has been designed for my friend Heather at Stillwater Fibers. It represents one of Heather’s favorite spots in Montana, the Stillwater River, which brings her peace and calm each time she visits. This pattern uses their either their fingering or Dk/Worsted blended Alpaca yarns. This cowl is sure to keep your warm, and is the perfect accessory to your wardrobe, no matter the season.
Using basic knits, purls, and yarnover stitches, the pattern creates an effect of stars over the peaceful Stillwater River. You can easily make the cowl longer or shorter by increasing or decreasing the number of eyelet star section repeats. If you choose to make it longer, please make sure to get enough yarn to do so.
I hope knitting it and wearing it brings you the same peace and comfort the river brings to Heather.
