Description
The Weavers and Wheat Wrap was deigned for the ladies at Greycliff Wool Works in Greycliff Montana for a 2025 Knit-a-Long using their own Greycliff Fingering weight yarn, which was hand-dyed by Rachel Moberg of Crafted by Locals. The wool is grown, milled, spun, and dyed in Montana.
This is one of those “settle into the season” kind of knits. It will take some time to complete, but the outcome is a cozy wrap that will last for many years to come. Once cast-on, this simple four-row repeat wrap means you can easily take your project with you wherever you go and pick-up and set down at your convenience.
Using basic knitting, yarnovers, and basic cables, you will create an exquisite piece of art – and wearable.
I designed it in two sizes (one to wear and one to cozy up in at home). The thin wrap is perfect for keeping warm on those cool days when you’re out and about, and the wider wrap is a perfect accent wrap for your home, and a wonderful way to settle in with a good book or your favorite knitting project, and cup of hot tea or your favorite beverage.
Whichever one you choose, I hope you enjoy the knit and the final project!
